CHAPLAIN’S MINISTRY
The Chaplain’s program was established by the hospital to help provide spiritual, social, and emotional support for the patients while at the hospital. Their duties range from praying with patients, leading services for the patients, helping with transportation, social needs, and financial support for patients when it is needed, and leading daily staff devotionals for the hospital staff. As of 2022 the staff consists of Pastor Chiwasa, Mr. Njulyu, Mr. Musoma, and Mrs. Kasope. Friends of Mukinge pays for the salary of one of the staff and we have been encouraged by the reports that we receive from the hospital staff and administration about their invaluable contributions to the life of the hospital and hospital staff.
